The inspiration for the design of the Egyptian national team's emblem came from the country's rich history and its natural resources.

The general shape of the emblem is inspired by an ancient headdress worn by conquerors in ancient Egypt.

The elements within the emblem:

The team's nickname is "The Pharaohs", and following it, the main motif in the team's emblem is the scarab, which was considered sacred to the ancient Egyptians and was important in Pharaonic culture.

Within the wings of the scarab are waves that symbolize both the Nile River, which is the main lifeblood of Egypt and is of great importance, and the waves created on the sand dunes that characterize Egypt by the desert wind.

In addition, in the emblem, the scarab holds the sun, which is associated with the sun god Ra, one of the main gods in Egyptian mythology. In addition, in the emblem, the team's name in English and Arabic.

The inspiration for the design of the Egyptian national team's uniforms comes from the pyramids of Giza, which are closely identified with Egypt and have significant symbolism for the country and its culture. The pyramids were given a formal abstraction to match the home uniform.

A pattern composed of reeds and spikes, which are common in the vicinity of the Nile River and are also mentioned in folk tales in various cultures, is added to the pyramids. The spikes were subjected to a process of abstraction and arranged in a wavy shape that recalls the waves of the Nile River as well as the shapes of the waves on the dunes, as mentioned in the design of the national team's emblem. These motifs were chosen to appear on the national team's home uniforms and represent it.

The colorfulness of the emblem and uniforms was also added with the color yellow gold, which recalls the desert but also the monarchy in ancient Egypt and its rich culture and history.
