Design for the national team logo

The inspiration for the design of the Yemeni national team's emblem came from the country's rich history and its unique natural resources.

The general shape of the emblem is inspired by the ancient entrance gate to the city of Sana'a in Yemen.

The elements within the emblem:

The team's nickname is "The Happy Yemenis". The main motif in the team's emblem is the dragon's blood tree.

This tree is unique only to the island of Skurta in Yemen and is characterized by a unique shape and a bright red color when it is cut, from where it also gets its name.

The tree was flattened and adapted to the general shape of the emblem.

In addition, the emblem contains the team's name in English and Arabic.

The inspiration for the design of the Yemeni national team uniform is the ancient city of Shibam. A 200-year-old city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to the very tall buildings found there, all made of mud bricks, with the tallest of them rising to a height of about 30 meters and being about 8 stories high.

This unique city and its skyline are the ones that inspired the creation of the patten that adorns the Yemeni national team uniform. The resulting patten is an abstraction of the city's skyline and buildings and transforming it into something rhythmic and flowing.
