The emblem design draws from Iran’s rich cultural heritage and Persian identity. Its overall shape echoes the arched forms of traditional mosque architecture, commonly seen across the country.
At its center is a stylized Persian lion, a historical symbol once featured on the national flag. The lion’s form was abstracted based on mosaic patterns from mosques in the Isfahan province, and its facial details reference crown shapes from the old flag.
A gold accent line nods to the regal gold color of the original flag, symbolizing Iran’s proud history. The team’s name appears in both English and Arabic, reflecting cultural depth and international presence.
The home kit design is inspired by the stained glass windows of the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque in Shiraz, known for their vibrant colors and the dramatic light patterns they cast across the floor.
These colors and shapes were chosen to celebrate Iranian culture, with the emblem’s silhouette used as the basis for a repeating pattern. The pattern appears as a colorful strip across the front and back of the jersey, while the rest of the shirt remains white to highlight the visual effect — echoing the way light spills across the mosque’s floor.
