Israel National Team Emblem - Design Concept

The emblem design draws inspiration from Israel’s history and national symbols. Its overall shape references the menorah branches, a key symbol in Judaism and Israeli identity.

At the center is a stylized Star of David - rounded and inflated to echo ancient Davidic shields and visually connect to the shape of a soccer ball. The blue and white color scheme reflects both the national flag and the team’s nickname, “The Blue and White.”

Two olive branches flank the emblem, symbolizing peace and continuity, and referencing the national emblem of Israel. The team’s name appears in both Hebrew and English, celebrating the cultural roots and international presence of the team.

The design of the Israeli national team’s home kit is inspired by the menorah — a symbol of both loss and hope. As the official emblem of the State of Israel, the menorah was transformed into a repeating pattern reminiscent of traditional synagogue textiles and tallit (prayer shawl) decorations.

The sleeves feature two blue stripes, referencing the iconic blue lines of the tallit, further tying the uniform to national and cultural identity.
