Syria National Team Emblem - Design Concept

The emblem draws inspiration from Syria’s architectural heritage and historical landmarks. Its overall shape is based on ancient clay houses, still present in parts of the country and deeply tied to its identity.

The team’s nickname, “The Eagles of Mount Qasioun”, is reflected in a stylized eagle integrated into the emblem’s form.
The design also features pillars inspired by the Great Mosque of Damascus, a key symbol of the capital. While the true number of pillars remains unknown, 15 are depicted, representing the 15 districts of Damascus.

Two stars from the national flag are included, along with the team’s name in both Arabic and English, reinforcing national pride and international recognition.

Syria National Team Kit - Design Concept

The home kit design is inspired by ancient hexagonal ceramic tiles rooted in Syria’s heritage, particularly in Damascus. These tiles reflect the region’s historic use of geometric and floral patterns in art, a result of Islamic restrictions on depicting human and animal forms in public art.

Digitally adapted and recolored to match the team’s palette, the tiles form a patterned motif across the uniform, representing Syria’s artistic legacy.
Additional detailing on the sleeves and collar references the pillars of the Grand Mosque in Damascus, tying the kit to the emblem and the nation’s architectural heritage.
